Description
Supplied in money-saving 1Kg bags, our Apple Wood Smoking Dust has a rounded, fairly heavy smoke flavour with a tiny hint of sweetness. It is a favourite for charcuterie and meats as well as fish and cold-smoked cheeses. The wood is dark in colour, and the dust consistency can vary from batch to batch, but it’s usually a combination of dusty fine particles and slightly larger rice-sized flakes.

- As the dust particle size isn’t consistent, it isn’t always suitable for mesh-style tray cold smokers like the ProQ Cold Smoke Generator. However, if the consistency is on the larger side, mix it with smaller dust like Beech. This adds a subsidiary flavour while maintaining smoulder power. It is perfect for stainless steel tray-style smokers such as the Camerons.
